Sing With SRSC
The Santa Rosa Symphonic Chorus is a 60 to 80 voice mixed chorus. Members have had some previous choral experience and can read music at least at an elementary level. New singers are accepted each semester by audition. We usually are in need of more men’s voices so, if you have a wonderful voice but have never sung in a chorus before, we would certainly like to hear you.
Starting with the Fall 2011 session, the chorus will be set up as a class in the Santa Rosa Junior College Community Education department, on Monday evenings from 7:00 to 10:00. To audition for the chorus, check the community class schedule at http://www.santarosa.edu/ to find out when classes begin for the Santa Rosa Symphonic Chorus. Auditions for the Fall session are held in August. Auditions for Spring 2012 will be held January 30 and February 6. Call 527-4999 ext. 9228 or email info@santarosasymphonicchorus.com to sign up for an audition. You do not need to prepare anything for the audition. After acceptance, you must enroll in the SRJC community ed. class. Class starts February 13 at 7:00. We sing during the Fall and Winter semesters and take the summer off. Costs to sing with us include SRJC registration fees, cost of music, and our official concert attire.
We believe that singing with the Santa Rosa Symphonic Chorus is a rewarding and joyful experience. We welcome your interest in us and encourage you to audition.

Mondays, February 13 to June 11, 7pm to 10pm (no class on February 20, March 19, May 28)
